Higher than predicted tides expected 13-19 June
Higher than predicted high tides may be experienced in foreshore (low-lying areas near the coast) and riverside locations from 13 June to 19 June 2026.
These high tides are expected to be slightly higher than the high tides experienced on 17 and 18 May 2026.
Minor localised flooding may be experienced in bayside, riverside, and low-lying parts of nearby suburbs.
Areas connected to foreshore, and tide-affected areas of the river, creeks and other waterways may also be affected.
Residents in areas prone to localised flooding due to high tides are advised to take appropriate precautions and avoid parking their cars on the street during these times.
Please note that residents in tidal flood areas who are signed up for Brisbane Severe Weather Alerts can expect to also receive creek flood alerts during higher than predicted high tides.
