UPDATED: Traffic and parking changes will be in place from 7pm Thursday 28 May to 10am Friday 29 May 2026 in Brisbane City due to the Freedom of Entry – HMAS Brisbane event.
Traffic and parking changes will be in place from 7pm Thursday 28 May to 10am Friday 29 May 2026 in Brisbane City due to the Freedom of Entry – HMAS Brisbane event.
From 7.30am to 10am Friday 29 May in Brisbane City the following roads will be fully closed during this time:
- A full road closure of Adelaide Street, between Creek Street and George Street
- A full road closure of Edward Street, between Ann Street and Rowes Lane
- A full road closure of Albert Street, between Adelaide Street and Queen Street
Parking conditions will also temporarily change on Adelaide Street between George Street and Wharf Street from 7pm Thursday 28 May 2026 to 10am Friday 29 May 2026 to ‘No Standing Tow Away’.
Police, traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
