Changed traffic and parking conditions in Petrie Terrace for the Ampol Women’s State of Origin and NRL Magic Round 2026 event
Traffic and parking changes will be in place from 10am Thursday 14 May to 6am Monday 18 May, in Petrie Terrace, due to the Ampol Women’s State of Origin and NRL Magic Round 2026. The Lang Park Traffic Area will also be activated during this time.
Caxton Street, between Petrie Terrace and Hale Street, will be fully closed during this time.
Parking conditions will also temporarily change on Caxton Street to ‘No Standing Tow Away’ during this time.
Please note, normal Lang Park Traffic Area conditions for event days will apply from Thursday 14 May to Monday 18 May. A 15-minute parking limit applies on all roads within this area on event days, from 2 hours before gates open at Suncorp Stadium to 2 hours after an event finishes, unless signed otherwise.
Queensland Police Service, traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
