Changed traffic conditions for Mother’s Day Classic in South Brisbane and West End

Traffic and parking changes will be in place from 6.30am to 11.30am Sunday 10 May 2026, in South Brisbane and West End due to the Mother’s Day Classic.

The following roads will be fully closed in South Brisbane during this time:

  • Montague Road, between Hope Street and End of Street
  • Stanley Street, between Stanley Place and End of Street
  • Russell Street, between Grey Street and End of Street
  • Stanley Place, between Montague Road and Peel Street
  • Riverside Drive, between Bouquet Street and Hill End Terrace

 

The following road will be half closed in West End during this time:

  • Northbound Half Road closure of Hill End Terrace, between Montague Road and Forbes Street

Traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.

Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
