Temporary road closures and changed parking conditions in South Brisbane for the Paniyiri Greek Festival

Traffic and parking changes will be in place from Friday 22 May to Monday 25 May 2026, for the Paniyiri Greek Festival at Musgrave Park.

Edmondstone Street, between Besant Street and Russell Street, will be fully closed from 5am Saturday 23 May to 7.30am Monday 25 May.

Russell Street, between Edmonstone Street and Cordelia Street, will be fully closed from 6am-11pm Saturday 23 May and from 7am-9pm Sunday 24 May.

Parking conditions will temporarily change in Russell Street, between Edmondstone Street and Cordelia Street, to ‘No Standing Tow Away’ from 7pm Friday 22 May to 6am Monday 25 May 2026.

Police, traffic control and signage will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians through the area.

Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
