Changed traffic conditions for the Lord Mayor’s lighting of the Christmas Tree
Traffic changes will be in place from 4.30-8pm on Friday 28 November 2025, in Brisbane City due to the Lord Mayor’s lighting of the Christmas Tree event.
Adelaide Street, between Edward Street and George Street, will be fully closed during this time.
Police, traffic control and signage will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians through the area.
Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversions clearly signed on the day.
