Free green waste drop off
Residents impacted by yesterday’s severe weather can drop green waste off at any resource recovery centre for free until Sunday, 2 November 2025.
The resource recovery centres are open from 6.30am to 5.45pm every day, located at:
• Willawong - 360 Sherbrooke Road
• Chandler - 728 Tilley Road
• Ferny Grove - 101 Upper Kedron Road
• Nudgee - 1372 Nudgee Road
Residents are advised to be patient when visiting a resource recovery centre as extended wait times may occur.
Make sure you check current alerts and road conditions. When driving, if you see damaged or fallen power lines, stay away and report it by calling triple zero (000) or 13 19 62.
