Changed traffic conditions on George Street, Brisbane City
Traffic changes will be in place on George Street, Brisbane City, between Elizabeth Street and Burnett Lane, over the next 4 Monday nights to facilitate crane lift operations.
A full closure on George Street, between Elizabeth Street and Burnett Lane will occur during the following times:
- 7pm Monday 12 October to 5am Tuesday 13 October 2026
- 7pm Monday 19 October to 5am Tuesday 20 October 2026
- 7pm Monday 26 October to 5am Tuesday 27 October 2026
- 7pm Monday 2 November to 5am Tuesday 3 November 2026.
Service and delivery vehicle access to Queen Street Mall via George Street will be maintained.
Traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
