Cultural Centre Riverwalk closures
Pedestrians and cyclists are advised that a section of the Cultural Centre Riverwalk will be closed between 6.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays from Tuesday 6 October to Friday 23 October 2026 for maintenance works.
The following access changes will be in place during this period:
- Closure of the Cultural Centre Riverwalk between Kurilpa Bridge and Victoria Bridge.
- Closure of the adjacent footpath.
The Riverwalk will reopen at approximately 3.30pm each day once works are complete.
No impacts are expected on weekends.
Access to the Cultural Centre pontoon will remain available via the Cultural Centre tunnel.
Traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist pedestrians and cyclists.
Visitors and nearby Cultural Centre facilities may notice increased noise from machinery and tools during work hours.
