Brisbane Arts Theatre invites your tweens and teens to develop their skills. They offer creative and performing arts workshops for ages 8 to 18.

Make your dream real—join a Flipside Circus's adult class and learn circus skills at any age. Learn to fly, tumble, juggle, and move in a mixed aerial short circus course. Enrol your little one in kindy classes—an interactive program designed for both child and parent to enjoy together.

Let's dance

Dial-up your endorphins with a community dance class at Queensland Ballet. For more than 10 years, they've taught aspiring dancers ballet, jazz, and contemporary moves. Age is never a barrier to find your place at the barre. Enrol in Ballet for Seniors classes - great for improving poise, core strength, and making new friends.

Mad Dance House in Brisbane's CBD offers over 50 weekly classes for beginners and experienced dancers. From contemporary dance, salsa, jazz, tap and hip hop, there's something for everyone to pop, lock, and bop to! Classes are for beginners right through to experienced professionals.

Get crafty

Feeling the call of creative inspiration, but not sure what sparks the most joy? Find craft classes near you.

Discover your artistic talent at artisan. They offer online courses in book art, paper folding, clothing, textiles, embroidery, and repair. Also learn about natural dyes, sustainability, and more. In-person courses are available too.

Don't forget to cast your creative eye over the range of free and low-cost workshops and classes run by Council. Zentangle colouring-in is a fun way for adults to de-stress and to improve cognitive function. We hold classes at Council libraries throughout the year.

Our Space, in Wilston is a pottery studio and coffee shop. It offers beginners classes, short courses, and kids’ sessions.

Bring drinks, grab an easel, and explore your inner Picasso with friends while having a laugh. Brisbane's Cork and Chroma in South Bank pioneered the city’s popular paint and sip movement.

Cross the river on a CityCat to Rosé Soirée in Bulimba. Here, you can bring your own cheese platter and drinks and try painting your own masterpiece. You'll also find Rosé Soirée in Fortitude Valley.

Playful creativity

If you’re looking for a workshop that’s as fun as it is creative, Stash World is your go-to. This women-owned papercraft and sticker studio is all about playful, judgment-free creativity.

Stick 'n' Sip sessions let you collage with upcycled papers and vintage stickers while enjoying a relaxed, social vibe. Each class, from vision boards to cassette collages, sparks creativity and builds connection.
