Archerfield Wetlands District Park, Durack
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and Archerfield Wetlands District Park is proof. We transformed an old wastewater treatment plant into one of Brisbane’s newest playgrounds. Kids now play, explore, and enjoy the space. Slide down the park’s super slide or pack the family basketball and shoot a few hoops at the court on site.

Ascot Park, Ascot
Ascot Park offers a fully fenced space, making it ideal for families with young children. Independent toddlers can safely explore and play. They can drive the fire engine, enjoy cubby houses, and serve pretend meals from the market cubby. There’s also swings, a roundabout and plenty of room for a mum’s group mid-morning picnic.

Bradbury Park playscape, Kedron
Described as 'a playground like no other', the Bradbury Park playscape has been a hit with families since opening. This spectacular playground of towers, bridges and obstacles, as well as a magical forest keeps kids amused for hours. Sit back and enjoy a take-away coffee, or cook a barbecue, while your kids climb and explore the structures.
Bradbury Park also includes a scooter track, basketball half court, exercise equipment and dog park.

Clarina Street Park, Chapel Hill
Clarina Street Park is the perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful visit to a park with kids. It includes an unfenced playground surrounded by trees, with a timber play structure (with slide) inspired by nature. The play equipment connects to a double swing set via sandstone stepping stones.
In addition to the play equipment, there is also a barbecue and picnic area.

Colmslie Beach Reserve, Murarrie
An Octopus Garden-themed playground is the star feature of Colmslie Beach Reserve, Murarrie. It includes sea creature play sculptures (octopus, fish, and a crab) and a yellow submarine for kids to climb on. Local artist, David White, designed the much loved original (installed 30 years ago) and current sculptures. The playground also has slides, climbing equipment, water play, balancing beams, flying fox and musical boat.
Colmslie Beach Reserve has frontage to the Brisbane River. It also includes picnic facilities, electric barbecues, and a learn-to-ride track.
