New park upgrades to explore in Brisbane

We are working to make Brisbane’s lifestyle even better. Here are some of the newest park upgrades for your next day out.

Brisbane City Council is working hard to improve Brisbane’s lifestyle. We're upgrading parks to give new life to some of our 2,180 parks.

Dash Street, Keperra

A new pickleball court is now open at Dash Street. It is easy to try, whether you are new to the game or already love it. Bring a friend and have a hit.

Fenwick Park, Mitchelton

This well‑known community playground has reopened with brand‑new equipment. Children can enjoy climbing walls, slides, swings, and hamster wheels.

Glindemann Park, Holland Park

Bring scooters and bikes for a fun day out. The upgrade includes a new riding track and a nature play space for children to explore.

Hibiscus Skate Park, Upper Mount Gravatt

Hibiscus Skate Park now has a smoother and safer track. It suits skaters of all skill levels.

Jamboree Park, Jamboree Heights

A new playground and nature play area is ready for families. Children can ride the flying fox and enjoy the new picnic furniture during a break.

Macaranga Crescent Park, Carseldine

The new nature playground offers fun for children of all ages. They can climb ropes, view wildlife art, and walk along short nature trails.

Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks

Rocks Riverside Park offers playgrounds, a sand pit, and a jumping pillow for kids of all ages. Pack bikes and scooters to enjoy a trip along the 800-metre riverside pathway before refuelling with a park picnic. 

Taringa Playground Park, Taringa

You'll now find more room to play at Taringa Playground Park! Improvements include a double swing, shade sails, a climbing wall, and an activity wall with classic games. Plan a morning or afternoon play date. Pack the picnic rug and lots of snacks to enjoy the upgraded picnic facilities.  

Wynnum Wading Pool Park playground, Wynnum

Ahoy, little pirates! The iconic, seaside Wynnum Wading Pool Park has an all-new shipwreck structures. You'll also find beach cubby houses and a sand workshop for your little sea adventurers to explore.
