Economic relief for businesses, sports clubs and community groups
Brisbane City Council is committed to supporting businesses, sporting and community groups across our city during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
To support Brisbane, local businesses and the clubs and groups that bring our communities together, Council is introducing a $5 million economic relief package by waiving a significant number of fees, rents and charges between 1 January and 31 March 2022. This applies to any new applications received between 1 January to 31 March 2022 and renewals printed and issued from 1 January to 31 March 2022. Renewals printed prior to 31 December 2021 that are due after 1 January 2022 are not included.
What fees will be waived?
Council will waive a significant number of fees as well as leasing costs for clubs and community groups on Council land.
The following fees will be waived between 1 January and 31 March 2022:
