The Lord Mayor's Senior Christmas Parties happen every year. They include light food, refreshments and entertainment at Brisbane City Hall.

About the Lord Mayor's Seniors Christmas Parties

The Lord Mayor’s Seniors Christmas Parties are a yearly tradition. They invite seniors in Brisbane to celebrate the holiday season at Brisbane City Hall.

These popular events feature a new line-up each year. A variety of entertainers perform both traditional and modern Christmas songs.

These events are sponsored by The Village Retirement Group and proudly support the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust.

2026 Lord Mayor's Seniors Christmas Parties

Council will host 15 shows across 6 days with guests enjoying light refreshments prior to entertainment.

Cost $7.50 (includes GST)

Show schedule and program

There will be a morning and afternoon show each day, with evening shows held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

There will be 3 shows signed by Auslan interpreters. Guests will be seated at tables closest to the stage to ensure good sightlines. To book an interpreted performance, email Council.

Tickets will be available for purchase in October. More information will be provided soon.

Transport options

Drop-off and parking

There will be a pick-up and drop-off zone on King George Square with access via the Ann Street side of Brisbane City Hall.

This zone can only accommodate:

  • cars
  • taxis
  • mini buses.

The drop-off zone is only for dropping off passengers to the event. It is a no standing zone and drivers are required to remain in their vehicle, unless assisting passengers.

Car parking

Paid, underground parking is available at Council's King George Square Car Park.

The vehicle height limit for this car park is 1.93 metres.

Guests with vehicles exceeding this height limit can park at Wilson Parking, which also operates a paid car park close to Brisbane City Hall at 145 Ann Street. For more information about Wilson Parking, phone Wilson Parking on 07 3320 2233
