Since 2011, Anywhere Festival has championed artists by offering rent‑free, non‑traditional spaces and creative support, empowering bold new work without the burden of traditional venue costs. Audiences can stumble upon theatre in hedge mazes, circus in driveways, music in backyards, storytelling on ferries and even musicals in airplanes - performances that turn the city’s nooks and crannies into unforgettable experiences.

Now a fixture of Brisbane’s cultural calendar with hundreds of performances each year, Anywhere Festival continues to inspire new ways of creating and experiencing live performance.
