Explore the ancient process of dyeing fabric using plants. Learn how to extract sustainable, skin friendly pigments from native plants (such as eucalypts) and everyday items found in your fridge and pantry. Use a pole wrap technique with whole eucalypt leaves to print botanical patterns on merino and silk fabrics. All materials provided. Presented by the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Education Team. For those 16 years and older.
