Bridgeman Downs community street tree planting event and free family activities

Join us to help make Bridgeman Downs more attractive, cooler and walkable by planting trees at this free family fun event.

Plant trees in your local street and help grow our urban forest. Ahead of Neighbour Day the following day, you can get to know your neighbours whilst beautifying your local area.

New street trees are carefully chosen to suit the site and local area. Planting holes will be dug beforehand and all tools supplied. There will also be face painting, a roving musician - BenJam and an exciting and informative wildlife display by Reptile Adventures.  These free activities are proudly supported by the Lord Mayor’s Community Fund and Councillor Tracy Davis.

As a thank you for participating you can enjoy a free sausage sizzle afterwards and take home a free native plant.

What to bring - For your comfort and safety, wear sturdy covered shoes, a hat and sunscreen and bring your reusable water bottle.

Streets to be planted include - Apulia Place, Asciano Place, Azienda Place, Belvista Place, Booyong Place, Cassidy Crescent, Cerbaia Close, Cienna Place, Diana Close, Eren Court, Estonia Avenue, Fiesole Place, Franco Place, Fun Close, Gardenia Place, Honour Place, Kagan Close, Kyle Street, Laguna Place, Leong Street, Levy Circuit, Majestic Street, Montalcino Place, Noble Street, Oltrarno Place, Ridley Road, Roghan Road, Serendipita Street, Sonienda Place, Sovereign Place, Travorten Drive, Trequanda Place Walkway and Levy Circuit.
