Guided discovery walk at Karawatha Forest

Join a volunteer guide as they share their knowledge of local flora and fauna along one of the many tracks in Karawatha Forest. Walks are taken at a gentle pace.  Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Requirements: Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Safety first: Please wear closed-in walking shoes, bring a water bottle, and dress in sun-protective clothing including a hat and sunscreen. Walks may include uneven terrain, uphill sections of the walk. Arrive on- time for safety brief.

Note: Walks are subject to weather and environmental conditions. Participants will be notified if the walk is cancelled. This walk may be cancelled if unsafe walking conditions arise on the day, including severe weather, extreme heat, or any other hazards that may impact participant safety.
