Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Blamey Stone.

Blarney Stone is a spirited Irish band of four talented and experienced musicians, each bringing their own flair to a rich tapestry of Celtic sound. With instruments including Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, Bodhran, Concertina, Tin Whistle, Guitar, and Irish Octave Mandolin, their performances are a vibrant celebration of Irish and Scottish musical heritage, as well as familiar Australian folk classics. From lively reels and energetic jigs to heartfelt ballads, their repertoire is packed with traditional tunes that evoke nostalgia and warmth.

The group's journey began over ten years ago, emerging from the Celtic session scene in Brisbane, and they remain dedicated to delivering truly authentic performances. Many of their songs are well-loved classics, cherished by older audiences and sure to spark a sing-along atmosphere in any setting. Whether at a festival, pub, or private event, Blarney Stone creates a welcoming environment that invites everyone to join in the fun.

A genuine traditional music performance, with a dash of Aussie charm. Promising a memorable experience filled with toe-tapping rhythms and the timeless spirit of Celtic music.

This performance is AUSLAN interpreted.
