Story Behind the Lens: Queensland Multicultural Photography & Story Awards Night 2026 is a community-led cultural celebration that brings together Brisbane's multicultural communities through photography, storytelling and community participation. The event celebrates authentic personal stories, cultural heritage and community contributions while encouraging creativity, cross-cultural understanding and social inclusion.

Developed in collaboration with multicultural community organisations, charities, educational institutions and local community groups, the Awards Night provides a welcoming platform for communities to connect, share experiences and celebrate the diversity that enriches Brisbane.
