4MBS Brisbane Shakespeare Festival

Celebrating its 20th year, the 4MBS Brisbane Shakespeare Festival brings the Bard to Brisbane with theatre, talks, dance, swordplay, and more fun for the whole family!

Experience Shakespeare's thrilling tale of battles, rebellion and royal adventure with a professional production of Henry IV (Parts 1 & 2 combined) in the amphitheatre at 5.30pm. Follow the mischievous Prince Hal as he leaves behind a carefree life to face fierce rivals and fight for England's crown. Directed by Tama Matheson, this open air production features a stellar cast of Brisbane Shakespearean actors.

Come early for pre-play entertainment including an interactive activity for children, an Elizabethan dance workshop, swordplay demonstration, and a Shakespearean language talk.
