Ashgrove historical society: Brisbane trams - from private enterprise to public service

Brisbane trams - from private enterprise to public service presented by Peter Hyde.  At midnight on the 30th of November 1925, the ownership of Brisbane's tramway system passed from the Brisbane Tramway Trust to the newly formed Brisbane City Council. Peter Hyde, a long-time volunteer with the Brisbane Tramway Museum at Ferny Grove, will describe the changes Brisbane’s public transport system has experienced during its hundred year history.
