The Bulimba aerodrome was one of six official airfields in Brisbane in the 1920s. Join presenter Russell Turner to learn about highlights such as aviator Percy Snell’s joy flights that attracted hundreds of people to the Bulimba airfield, and the first flight to carry a Queensland Premier was made from Bulimba. By 1931 Archerfield had replaced the other Brisbane airfields and its heyday had passed.
