Founded by Brisbane filmmakers in 2018, the Australia Independent Film Festival (AIFF) celebrates bold, original and exceptional independent cinema from Queensland, Australia, and around the world.

Our program showcases bold stories, distinctive voices and exceptional short-form filmmaking — from emerging filmmakers to established independent artists, from Queensland and across Australia to filmmakers from around the world.
