The Lord Mayor and Brisbane City Council will again host the traditional Flag Day ceremony in King George Square in front of Brisbane City Hall, with a flag raising by members of the Australian Defence Force.
Our flag was first flown on September 3, 1901 following the world's first ever flag design competition.
