Enjoy sketching ‘en plein air’ under the shade of the impressive fig trees at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. Learn about the diversity of our native figs and their unique adaptations. This is an outdoor activity. Please wear a hat and enclosed shoes; and bring a snack and keep cup or water bottle. We will be walking to various locations nearby from the Australian rainforest to the Japanese garden. This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community, dedicated to putting the plant back into Planet. Presented by the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Education Team. No experience required. All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own. These workshops are for those aged 16 years and older.
