Join author Briony Benjamin as she shares her new book, 'Pick me up'. After a stage four blood cancer diagnosis at 31, Briony wrote her bestselling first book, Life Is Tough (But So Are You). Her new book, Pick Me Up, is for the rest of life, from the big life-altering moments to those ordinary Tuesdays that just feel a bit too much. Part hug, part handbook, it's full of simple, real-world ways to feel calmer, lighter and more like yourself again. She's also a mum of two boys, which is its own full-contact sport. Books will be available for purchase, or bring your copy from home to be signed. Presented as part of the Lord Mayor’s Writers in Residence series.
