Join us for fun activities and a special Kamishibai story about an intrepid young shorebird, 'Tom the Red-necked Stint' as he travels from the Arctic tundra all the way to Boondall wetlands in Moreton Bay. This special Bush Kindy celebrates Brisbane City Council’s sister wetlands at Yatsu Higata tidelands in Narashino, Japan.

Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5, alongside their parents and carers. Be immersed in the natural surroundings of the reserve as children build nature confidence through bushwalks, exploration, story-time, art 'n' craft and much more. Bush Kindy sessions can go up to 45 minutes and will go ahead in light rain. Themes vary each week.

This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity, send an email.
