Community planting and bushcare working bee - Kenmore South Creek Care
Join other like-minded volunteers to help protect and restore Brisbane’s unique biodiversity through our Habitat Brisbane program.
Kenmore South Creek Care welcome all new and interested volunteers to join them at their next bushcare working bee and community planting on Sunday 17 May.
Through flood and drought, the bushcare group continue to focus on community, weed reduction, citizen science and building the sites resilience as hundreds of native plants continue to be planted by the group engaged in regenerating the site’s endangered ecosystem.
What to bring: Please wear your hat and covered shirt, pants and shoes. Bring your water bottle. All tools and equipment are provided.
Meeting point: The pedestrian bridge from the easement between #49 & #51 Aberfoyle Street, Kenmore.
Note: Rotary volunteers or other students wishing to increase their Volunteer Hours are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the working bee.
