Czech and Slovak Film Festival of Australia

The Czech and Slovak Film Festival of Australia (CASFFA) is delighted to return to Brisbane for the first time since 2017, bringing a vibrant celebration of international cinema to local audiences.  

Now in its 13th edition, the festival presents a dynamic program of contemporary Czech and Slovak films, alongside a selection of beloved Czechoslovak classics. This year’s theme, Echoes, explores the lasting impact of history, memory, and artistic legacy - inviting audiences to reflect on how the past continues to shape the stories we tell today.
