Join us for a free family-friendly tree planting event and help make Everton Park greener, cooler and more walkable. Ahead of Arbor Day on 13 October, you will have the opportunity to plant trees in your local street and help grow our urban forest. Get to know your neighbours whilst beautifying your local area.
New street trees are carefully chosen to suit the site and local area. Planting holes will be dug beforehand, and all tools will be supplied.
This is a great opportunity for children and adults alike to learn about the trees being planted and the important role they play in creating cooler streets, supporting local wildlife and benefiting future generations.
As a thank you for participating, enjoy a free sausage sizzle after planting and take home a free native plant.
