Festive calligraphy meet-up practice session

Get a start on your very own festive projects that you'd like to create in time for Christmas! Bring your own materials along with a range of things to work on during this meet-up. You are also more than welcome to practice your penmanship throughout the session. The jolly old choice is yours.

As always, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow calligraphy and hand lettering lovers at this practice meet-up session. Whether you're a beginner or somewhat experienced, a diverse range of calligraphy and hand lettering styles are celebrated here including digital.

Remember to bring your very own reference material of various styles you would like to work from and enough supplies for the practice session. For example: felt tip pens like brush pens, fountain pens, pencil, eraser and enough paper/iPad for practicing your letterforms on.

This is a relaxing, self-led session to practice and experiment with a range of various hand styles.

Please note: No inks/ink wells/ink pots, watercolours, gouache, or paints are allowed in the Library.
