This month’s workshop is about propagating plants through seed, cuttings and division. You will receive information about how to make your own propagation soil mix, care for your developing plants, save money and learn about the seasonal cycle of plant life. The practical activity involves making paper pots and planting seeds, cuttings and divisions to take home and care for.
From the Ground Up is a five part workshop series on how to garden and grow plants sustainably. The methods and practices in the workshops are designed to restore and nurture the environment and to assist you in growing your garden harmoniously with nature. Each workshop is independent of the others and you do not need to attend them all. For more information, send an email.
Requirements: Please wear a hat and enclosed shoes; and bring a keep cup or water bottle. This workshop is available only to participants 16 years of age or over.
Location: Meet at the Kitchen in the Garden.
This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the plant back into planet.
