Gathering presents Native Foods and Healthy Cooking.

Discover the flavours, benefits and cultural significance of Australia’s native ingredients in this engaging and interactive cooking experience led by Destiny Dewis.

The Native Foods and Healthy Cooking session is a one-hour demonstration that explores practical ways to incorporate native ingredients into everyday meals. Participants will learn about the nutritional value of native foods and how they can be used in breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes. Through discussion and hands-on cooking activities, attendees will gain insight into how native foods can support healthier lifestyles while strengthening connections to Culture, Country and Community.

Destiny and her team will share simple, delicious recipes designed to make native ingredients accessible, enjoyable and easy to use at home.
