Weaver, Robyn Hourigan is a proud Bundjalung woman, a tradition she learned from her own cousin. She uses mainly raffia, sourced from palm trees and more traditionally, lomandra grass. Creating a range of items like earrings, baskets, and bookmarks.

Please join us from 12pm-1pm on the main stage of the Queen Street Mall as Robyn Hourigan facilitates a live weaving workshop.

Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.
