Gayatri Sarkar - The Wildflower of Assam

Between the 1950s and early-1980s, this historical saga portrays the journey of women – from one country to another, from abject poverty to comfort, and from tolerance to decisiveness. Books will be available for purchase on the day, or bring your copy from home to be signed.  Presented as part of the Lord Mayor’s Writers in Residence series.
