German National Day

German National Day, marks the reunification of Germany in 1990 after more than four decades of division.

It commemorates the peaceful path to unity that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall and remains Germany’s most important national celebration.

In Brisbane, iconic landmarks will shine in the German colours black red and gold to mark the occasion.
