Junior Explorers: Be a Platypal (7 years+)

Play, explore, and protect with Pickles the Platypus.

Join us as we dive into the world of Pickles the Platypus and become true Platypals - platypus pals and protectors! Connect with nature as you explore how platypuses live, why habitat corridors matter, and how we can help keep our waterways healthy. Complete fun challenges and become a junior conservationist in the making, all in the beautiful setting of a nature reserve.

This activity is for the general public. If you are a vacation group interested in attending a similar activity, send us an email.

Requirements on the day:

• Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre.
• All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.
• Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), sunscreen, and bring insect repellent.
• Water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.

Note: This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
