Find out why poo is a clue! We don't always see animals but we often find evidence of them. Build your wildlife detective skills at this fun hands-on activity all about tracks, scats, and habitats! Explore the reserve, learn bush observation skills, identify native animals and plants and discover simple actions we can take to protect bushland habitats. Additdonally, learn how you can help native animals using citizen science app, iNaturalist. After the activity, visit the environment centre and explore the beautiful natural surroundings of the reserve. This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please email us at KFDC@brisbane.qld.gov.au.

  • Cost: Free.
  • Bookings: Required via Eventbrite. Maximum 5 tickets as places are limited. All children must be supervised throughout by an adult who is booked into the event.
  • Age: This event is suitable for children aged 7 - 12 years.
