Join us to help make Keperra more attractive, cooler and walkable by planting trees at this fun family event. Meet your neighbours to plant trees in your local street and help grow our urban forest.

As part of National Reconciliation Week, this event will include a Welcome to Ceremony (including a smoking ceremony) and planting of culturally significant trees.

All new street trees are carefully chosen to suit the site and local area. All planting holes will be dug before hand and all tools supplied.

As a thank you for participating, you can enjoy a free sausage sizzle afterwards. You can also take home a free native plant.

What to bring
  • For your comfort and safety, wear sturdy covered shoes, a hat and sunscreen and bring your reusable water bottle.

Streets to be planted include: Caribbean Street, Silvertop Street, Coachwood Street, Jarrah Street, Alpine Street, Satinay Street, Blackbutt Street, Annadale Street, Keperra Street, Aramac Street, Slide Street, Kirwan Street, Welford Street, Eidsvold Street, Ardoch Street and Calen Street.
