Kindness Treasure Hunt

The Kindness Treasure Hunt is a free community event for children aged 5-12 designed to teach the values of kindness, gratitude and community spirit through action.

Along the treasure hunt journey, children will meet some of Brisbane’s local heroes, including firefighters, police officers, first responders and hospital staff and learn about the important contribution they make to our community every day.

Rather than simply talking about kindness, the children will actively practise it by personally handing out approximately 750 appreciation gifts as a heartfelt “thank you” to these local heroes.

The Kindness Treasure Hunt encourages children to recognize the people who help keep our community safe, healthy and connected, showing them, that even small acts of appreciation can make a meaningful difference.
