LANY - soft world tour

LA-based alt-rock duo LANY return to Australia this October and November as part of the  soft world tour.

Tallying billions of streams, selling out legendary arenas, and earning widespread critical acclaim, platinum-certified group LANY consistently deliver rafter-reaching anthems anchored by airtight songcraft and the outsized personality of enigmatic frontman and songwriter Paul Jason Klein.

Fresh off the back of their latest release Soft, the album marks a defining moment in the band’s personal and professional lives. Writing the album just weeks after a serious accident that saw Paul wake up in an ambulance, the project solidifies a sonic identity that is simultaneously incredibly fresh and peculiarly familiar (another dichotomy that defines the record).

Its subsequent deluxe edition Soft 2 - released just last week - serves as the project’s “Part 2”, showcasing the contrast of hard and soft with tangible, literal, physical hardness, juxtaposed with metaphorical, relational (and, at times too, physical) softness.
