Baguettes, blankets, baskets, and bérets... Indulge your senses with the smell of flaky, buttery croissants and melting cheese wafting through the air, the sound of clinking glasses and French joie-de-vivre, accompanied by fabulous French melodies for the perfect ‘pique-nique á la française’.

We’ll have you covered with all you need, including a perfect picnic hamper you can buy on the spot - so join us for the ‘pique-nique’ of the year! Awaiting you will be: hours of entertainment live on-stage; a bustling French market where you can stroll and enjoy the flavours, aromas, and colours of France; specially curated Masterclasses to take a deep dive into French culture through the lenses of cuisine, oenology, perfect pairing… ; a children’s corner to keep our littlest Francophiles busy all day long; a French bar to keep your glasses topped up (we can’t have a French festival without Champagne!); and a few other surprises… So, what do you say? Le Festival is a three-day annual French festival that brings together the best of France to Brisbane, including Live Entertainment, French Cuisine, Wines and Champagnes, Masterclasses, and much more. Since 2010, Le Festival has become the most iconic French Festival in south-east Queensland, offering a unique French rendez-vous for Brisbane locals and wider communities, and all the Francophiles out there, to immerse themselves in an authentic French and Francophone cultural experience.
