Join a fun guided walk to visit some of our resident bats and learn some amazing facts about these winged wildlife heroes. These quiet (and not-so-quiet) achievers are crucial to the health of forests, making all bats ecological powerhouses! There will be giveaway take-home crafts for children and some tips on easy ways we all can help bats with their struggle to survive. Suitable for families, groups welcome. Less than 1 km on easy walking paths. After the activity, visit the environment centre and explore the beautiful bushland reserve. Requirements:

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre.
  • All participants must wear a hat, fully enclosed shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent.
  • Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
