Wrong Side is the sequel to The Last Gundir. It is 1824 and the Turrbal (Brisbane) tribe are accused by the Dalla of murdering two of their men. But just as a fight is arranged to determine guilt, a terrifying shadow menaces the tribe. On the opposite side of the world, Rebecca Hendry grows up in a poor family in east London. A promising career as a seamstress beckons. But an unexpected encounter takes her life onto a different path in a distant land. In 2017, Nayef Din was presented with an award from the Turrbal people for his role in raising awareness of Aboriginal culture in Brisbane.
