Outdoor Gallery: New Voices in Animation with Ruby Herrenberg and Marcus Nunn as part of Council's ‘AMPLIFY ME!’ Exhibition

Join us online for an insightful artist talk with two Brisbane-based artists, Ruby Herrenberg and Marcus Nunn. This session will showcase new animations and creative practices as part of the accessible public programming for AMPLIFY ME!, currently on display in Brisbane City Council's Outdoor Gallery.

Be part of the celebration as both artists showcase new animated artworks created in collaboration with Brisbane animator, Helena Papageorgiou. Hear from Ruby and Marcus as they discuss their animation experience, related drawings, background stories, characters, humour and the everyday moments that shape their work.

The session will also explore the artists’ existing works in AMPLIFY ME!, and what it has meant for them, as emerging artists, to be part of this citywide exhibition. We look forward to offering a relaxed, behind-the-scenes look at how each artist thinks, makes and collaborates.

Ruby and Marcus will be joined by AMPLIFY ME! curator, Nicole Crosswell.
