Come along and help plant 130 plants to enhance frog habitat and support other native wildlife.
This is a naturally occurring wet spot where we have been working to enhance the habitat for wildlife in the area, especially for endangered frogs such as the Tusked frog which have been recorded in the vicinity.
Long sleeves and long pants, a hat and covered shoes are preferred. Please bring a water bottle and gardening gloves if you prefer your own, otherwise you can borrow ours.
When you arrive, find the children's playground located between Henry St and Noreen St, and we’ll be planting nearby. All equipment is supplied. Morning tea provided by the Sutling St Bushcare Group.
Supported by Cubberla-Witton Creek Catchment Network and Habitat Brisbane. Grant funding provided by the Australian Government's Urban Rivers and Catchments Program.
