A school holiday activity for children and their families. Are you too young to play Pokemon Go? Don’t have a mobile phone? Come play Poke-tanical – the plant and animal hunting game in the Botanic Gardens.

Safely hunt through the gardens to find our special specimens and “battle” to win. There’s a certificate if you “get them all”.

Location: Meet at the lagoon in the Temperate Garden.

Must comence at 1pm to finish by 2pm. This is a self-guided activity.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Wear a hat and enclosed shoes; and bring a snack and water bottle or bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it on the lawn.

For more information, email BotGardensSHA@brisbane.qld.gov.au

This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the 'plant back into planet'.
