Our seas are warming, with coral bleaching, species migration and species loss, and extreme weather events becoming more frequent. Already the impacts are being felt- on fishing, tourism, recreation and food security. For a people whose identity is bound to the sea, what is the measure of this loss – for our environment, our economy, for who we are?

Panel:

  • Hosted by Elly Pashen (4ZZZ)
  • Professor Kerrie Foxwell-Norton, Environmental communication
  • Professor Helen Bostock, Oceanographer
  • Zoe McLeish, Surf Lifesaving Queensland
  • Jennah Williams, Marine Scientist.
