Experience an enchanting evening of Hindustani classical music!

Qld Sangeet Mela Association presents an Indian classical concert in conjunction with our 2026 Annual General Meeting. This concert is free for members, including anyone who joins from now or on the night!

Recognised as one of India's leading vocalists of his generation, Pt. Koushik Aithal is a disciple of Pandit Parameshwar Hegde and has received numerous prestigious honours, including the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Government of India. He has performed at many of India's most renowned music festivals and concert halls, as well as internationally across the USA, the UK, and Europe.

He will be accompanied by:

• Shen Flindell – Tabla
• Sri Joseph Abhay Nand – Harmonium.

Program:

• 6pm - Vocal Solo by Pandit Koushik Aithal accompanied by Shen Flindell (tabla) and Joseph Nand (Harmonium)
• 7.30pm - Break for tea and snacks
• 7.45pm - Annual general meeting.
